Dr Sylvain Aubry (UniZH) has many years of expertise in plant physiology with a focus on the various aspects of photosynthesis and microgenomics. His research focused on the physiology of the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana. He worked at different universities in Switzerland, France and England. His interest in chronobiology stems from his research experience at Cambridge University. He also works at the Federal Office for Agriculture, advising the Swiss government on biodiversity, genetic resources and biotechnology, and publishes regularly in scientific and public media.
